idea-radar
A private research tool by Tiago Fischer, an independent developer in Brazil.
idea-radar helps one person decide which small online business to build next. It keeps a list of business ideas (software, content, stores, services) and ranks them by evidence of demand that is measured, not guessed: how many people search for the problem, what already sells, who already advertises, and what people complain about.
What it does
- For each idea, it picks a few search terms per market (Brazil, Spanish-speaking Latin America, Spain and the United States).
- It looks those terms up in public sources: search interest and keyword volume, marketplace listings and best sellers, app stores and product directories.
- It stores the numbers (search volume, number of results, reviews, prices) and uses them to score each idea.
Who uses it
Only its author. idea-radar has no sign-up, no customers and no public interface. The data it gathers stays inside the tool and is not resold, republished or shared.
Services it connects to
- Google Ads API, read-only, through the Keyword Planner, to get the search volume of the terms above. It does not create, change or pay for any campaign.
- Google Trends, to compare search interest over time.
- Marketplace and affiliate APIs (AliExpress, Shopee, Etsy), read-only, to see which products sell and at what price. No affiliate links are published from this tool.
